By no means is this even close to perfect, but I figured I’d finally give this solo a shot.
Afterlife by Avenged Sevenfold is honestly the song that hooked me into guitar, and the reason Synyster Gates became my favorite guitar player of all time. When I first heard the guitar solo, my mind was completely blown. I didn’t even know it was possible to make a guitar sound like that!
As soon as I heard it all the way through, I made a vow to myself to one day learn that solo.
