Bat Country Solo Progress

Here's one week of progress on learning the Bat Country solo. She's a sloppy bitch, but I'm still working on it. Haven't learned the end bit of the solo, and the duel solo I have up to 75% speed currently.
Pretty good! Keep practicing, you'll get there! One tip maybe, I noticed your left hand is quite "parallel" to the neck (the neo-classical approach), there's nothing wrong with that, but maybe you should try to switch to the classic position when you have to bend the string or make a note vibrate, you'll probably have more strength and precision

As in thumb on the middle of the back of the neck? I'll try to keep that in mind. Usually I wrap my thumb around so its almost touching the A string, but only for bends on the G when I don't have to stretch my fingers. That's why I have trouble with bends on the taps I think.

Yes for instance, at 0:37 I think you would bend the note much easier if you had your thumb wrapping the neck. But again there's no such thing as THE good way of playing, just find what's the most comfortable for you
