I would say practice really slow so that you at every moment know what you need to do exacly(pull off slide,etc). After that I would speed it up progressively.
That is definetly a matter of practice! But to add to what Christian said I would suggest ALSO trying to play it as fast as you can, maybe as an exercise with no focus which note you slide to, just so you get a feel of how it feels to play it more fast. Because I always think that those melodic lines are something entirely different when played slow

Thanks to you both for advise, good to know that its (just) a lot of practise.
I will do both, be very aware of what i do and to speed it up as fast as i can, even of slides go wrong.
