HTTK- Working on Rhythm

I attempted this many moons ago, got frustrated and just quit.
However, @RoaringRowanThunderBender has inspired me with her hard work, growth, and dedication to this...so I figured I’d give it another go. This is as far as I’ve gotten.... so I gotta learn the rest still 😬

And yes...I almost fell in the beginning, but it made for a great thumbnail so I kept it 🤣

As always, any tips are greatly appreciated!
Ah! Look at you!!! From what I can see, we play this song a little bit differently. I don't think this is necessarily a bad or wrong or right thing, however. Of course, there are more ways than one to skin a cat. Whichever is comfortable. It still sounds really good to me. However, if you want to see how I play it, feel free to let me know! Your palm muting is really good! And the joy I feel when seeing I've inspired you warms my heart to the core!

When you say playing it differently do you mean notes/chords or how I’m fingering them? (hehe that always feels dirty to type)

Okay wait, I just went and looked on here at your full video and I see where you’re talking about we play it different. I was going off of a tutorial by Carl Brown and how he showed it. 🤔 damnit now I’m wondering if I need to relearn it lmao.

I'm trying to think of how to word it....I'm thinking it's the chords and fingering. (Though they could be the same chords in just different positions of course!) Like you slide down to the 7th and 9th frets during one part of the song and I drop down a string kind of in a 2 and 4, then 5th fret kind of way. I don't think it's necessarily wrong, just something I noticed we do differently. I also use my pinky for the 2, 4, 5, but that's just how I do it. Keep it comfortable for you!

This is a good point...theory isn’t my strong suit yet haha so it could be the same chords.... @Ids Schiere help me out if you can lmao. It’s the part at 1:25 here.
