I attempted this many moons ago, got frustrated and just quit.
However, @RoaringRowanThunderBender has inspired me with her hard work, growth, and dedication to this...so I figured I’d give it another go. This is as far as I’ve gotten.... so I gotta learn the rest still
And yes...I almost fell in the beginning, but it made for a great thumbnail so I kept it
This is a good point...theory isn’t my strong suit yet haha so it could be the same chords.... @Ids Schiere help me out if you can lmao. It’s the part at 1:25 here.
It sounds like a modulation into the chorus. Like you have the verse bit which is in Em, than as a pre-chorus it kinda moves to something revolving a bit more around B and it revolves back to Em when it goes into the chorus.

Yes, if it's the same chord there not a problem at all. There are many ways to play the same thing or as we would say over here 'there are many ways leading to Rome' I refret things according to my comfort level all the time so it's not an issue at all as long as it sounds ok and is the correct chord as far as tonality goes.

The improvement in playing and keeping it tight and clean is awesome. Great job. One thing I was thinking, you may want to add just a little bit more power to your palm mutes (it depends on personal taste though, how much a player wants varies from one person to another). It will help you develop a strong picking hand I think. again, great job.
