Lynyrd Skynyrd—i aint the one Cover

The last 20 or so seconds got cut off i have no idea why haha but here’s this incredibly fun song (and hard solo)! Made even harder because i have an ingrown fingernail/hangnail on my fretting hands index finger 😂 enjoy guys and gals! @Ed Seith would love any advice or pointers if you got some!
That was great! You looked really comfortable and like you were enjoying it, and you recovered fairly well in those transitions between the solos and riffs! Nice work!

Dude, this is super sweet, from the classic thin-as-a-razor-blade tone to the whole feel and vibe. Only thing I can say is you need to work on those transitions from rhythm to lead. Multitask. If there's a footswitch you have to tap, you need to get to where you can tap it while your sliding up the neck to that first lead lick, and then back again.

Unless you make it big like Syn and have a tech program it into your AxeFX for you...

Means so much to hear you say that! And Yes thank you! I agree thats a weak suit of mine and I will definitely put more thought into that, im still getting used to actually having a distortion pedal and using it as if im performing! Ive only had my tube amp a year and the pedal for a few months haha.

Also if i had an AxeFx id be so happy, thats a goal is to own one someday! And man, i could only dream to make it big like Syn 😅 thank you again Ed!

Ed that's something I'm working on too. Making the switch between the two without anyone knowing. Sometimes it's more challenging then others
It is especially on this song because there’s a lot going on with the leads, and if i was going to take this song to a gig, id be singing at the same time too. Very tough 😂

Totally get it, and truth be told, sometimes you get the timing off, but you gotta keep playing. The important thing is to not stop playing while you're switching. Dead air where there shouldn't be dead air is a killer.

Well, us mortals still have to tap the footswitch on the AxeFX, so it's a vital skill for almost EVERY guitarist to develop!
