Nothing Else Matters Practice (First finger style song) (Synners Saturday)

Alright, so I've been learning this for about two weeks or so, and for the first Synner Saturday I thought I should be brave enough to post my progress. :-) It is my first finger style song. Oh, and sorry for the bad light in my room, stupid dark seasons.

Watching this, I immediatly notice that I need to work a bit on the fluency of the chord changes, the barrés in particular. Other than that, the next step would be to also practice this a bit to a metronome (for the listener, feel is probably more important than super tight timing for accoustic ballads like this, but it can't hurt to do it anyway).

Oh yeah, I'm in D standard tuning, so I'm also playing the song in D minor (the saddest of all keys :D).
Nice ! I absolutely love love love this song ! I’ve always wanted to play it, I can’t wait to see more progress on this ! It’s such a beautiful piece.

I am so proud of you! You sound amazing especially for how little time you've been working on it. This is not an easy song to play. You are doing very well!
I have 2 suggestions:
The 1st one is that you have a tendency to do most of the chord arpeggios with just your middlefinger. I would like to encourage you to refer to these sections of lessons on the school to get more familiar with how to fingerpicked more properly. Believe me it will make your life so much easier!
Other than that the only thing I'd also like to say is that you seem to struggle with pull offs and legato style. Just start practicing your scales all legato style and you will get much stronger with it!

Thanks so much for the feedback!!! It means a lot!
You are right, there is little to no control yet over what fingers are picking what . I will check out the lesson and start working on that. Also spot on about my legato weakness, especially on the two thinnest strings, I will start to incorporate that into my scale practice.
