Hi, guys!
For Synner Sunday, I decided to learn my fav song by Pearl Jam, and I'll keep recording my progress. Here's a little part of my practice.
I'm trying to nail the rhythm and I'm having a bit of a hard time with that, but I just started learning this song today.
Any tips/feedback/constructive criticism is welcomed!
If I can give you a tip for rhythm, use a metronome for practicing this chord changes even really slowly, you will eventually internalize the timing (if that makes sense). As for the strumming pattern, can't help you much because I stil really struggle on figuring them out on my own

Yeah, I think the metronome can be really useful here, 'cause I'm struggling to understand the rhythm hahahaha
I get lost in the middle of the strumming pattern after a while; it makes me wanna go only down sometimes... lol
Great song! While I play it in a different position, I think the basic pattern should apply, I use a D, D, DU, UD, DUDU, repeated with a few subtle variations here and there. If time permits tomorrow I will throw together a quick video.
Also, I believe the second chord you are playing should be an A, so you will want to move each of your fingers down a string.

It is really helpful!!! Thank you so much, I really appreciate it!
I'll keep practicing this, especially the transitions between the chords, which are very difficult for me.
