That's a cool lesson just watched it. I've been using chromatics alot to practice specific things like hammer ons and pull offs. I'll make a video of it tomorrow maybe it will help someone in the long run. Great job btw!
I just love your expression of amazement and accomplishment after you demonstrated your solo! Keep on going! Also, I met the drummer of Amon Amarth and he was a really awesome guy. Saw them the same day. They definitely kick ass
HOLY CRAP!!! Great work Alicia! Yes, small victories! I'm super proud of you!
Now, feedback time!: At 1:11, when you do your vibrato, have ALL fingers down that are preceding your note. So like say if you are having your RING finger down to play on the G string 5th fret and you want to vibrato THAT note, make sure your middle finger is also down on the 4th fret G string, and your index finger is down on the third fret of the G string. Your fingers all fall flat next to each other. Does that make sense? The reason why, is that you need to engage ALL the fingers to get a better controlled and stronger wrist vibrato. It will also help give you strength should you choose to vibrato and BEND that note, OR... if you want to descend to lower notes, your fingers are already in place for it. Does that make sense? If not, let me know girlie! SUPER PROUD OF YOU!!

to be honest I’m a bit confused by what you mean though. I went back and looked and 1:11 is like right before I start the hammer on thing. So I’m confused about the vibrato. It’s late and I could just be crazy and not comprehending what I’m really well

D string 16th fret where you use your ring finger roughly at 1:10-1:11 I'm not sure if you were trying to to a vibrato or not. But if you aren't, that's OK! You still want to make sure your other fingers are On the proceeding frets before that note. Does that make any sense? If not I will be glad to make a quick video and send it to you on Instagram!
Great! I love watching your journey with this solo. Looking foreward to the near future when you nail it perfectly and you know you made it. Very soon!!
