  • After months, I finally made a new gutar cover! It was so awesome to be finally able to play and record again. I also returned to this school. Can't wait to carry on learning and meeting new Synners here!
Do you wanna know what's so special about this record? I played it with a wooden pick! Treepics from Canada. I know I have much to work on, but for now I am just excited to be able to get back to playing! ♥
I've just posted the first solo from Welcome Home by Metallica here:

I've already posted it once, but I didn't use any daw, so it was a pretty bad quality - but now I tried to do it much better and I would be glad if you could check it too and tell me what to improve next time. :) Thank you very much for your advice in advance, friends! ♥♪
This is my first work with any DAW (I use Ableton Live 11)...The only thing I did was adding an audio effects (delay etc)...what is kind of a success for me that I'm able to record it at home alone and almost without mistakes. However, if you had some recomendation what to improve, don't hesitate to tell me, please! As I'm new in this, I appreciate each opinion! ♥

Your recording is pretty clean! For a first video, it's a really great first shot! Though the backing track comes out strange. Was it directly into ableton?

Thank you! Yes, it was directly into Ableton 🤷‍♀️

Well I cant see the video anymore and I don't quite remember but hey, keep on playing around in Ableton!
This is my first guitar video I've ever made and posted on social media! I recorded it in September 2020 and I have to admit, that I can see some mistakes as I'm watching it back after the 4 months! :D I played it with the tremolo bar, because it seems to me more smooth and emotional than with normal bends which were probably used in the original version :)

That's great to know! I tend to watch my older videos too and realized how much I can hear better compared to then.

Also with the bends, usually bending the strings can give better precision in delivering the intended note. Tremolo arm's not impossible, but it'll take a lot more effort to control the choice of notes :)

    Keep it going & cheers!

    Thanks! :)
