When you change your strings and buy a 2mm mediator and compare its tone with your usual 1.14mm. The difference is outstanding.

Two days ago, while playing over a backing track, I was finally able to play the introduction of Afterlife without any trouble, after spending a year learning that song. I feel so proud!
Today I bought a looper pedal, some new strings and a new pick! Support your local music stores guys, they will need it.
I just successfully did some sweep picking runs of sixteenths notes at 60 BPM, cleanly and with distortion, I'm so happy and proud of myself!
A few weeks ago I started practicing the introduction to sweep picking lesson, and today I made a video about my progress. Any feedback from you guys would be welcome!
