I am a small town boy from Mississippi who loves just about all kinds of music. Metal in particular holds a special place in my heart and A7X is my personal favorite band. They're the reason I've always wanted to play guitar. At the age of 23, on April 15, 2020, I finally decided to pursue that dream of playing guitar. After all, this was during the early quarantine days of COVID-19 so I had more free time than I knew what to do with.

Other hobbies of mine are gaming (mostly PC and Nintendo Switch these days), a healthy dose of anime and other select TV shows, a little bit of homesteading (I grew up on a small farm in rural MS so it's just in my genes), and firearms (again, rural MS, it's just natural around here.) I also have a wife and young daughter, both of which I love dearly and quite enjoy spending time with. Additionally, I have a couple YouTube channels that I'm trying to get off the ground. One for my gaming hobby and the other as more of a vlog style channel, mostly consisting of homestead type content and now also home to tracking my guitar learning journey.

As for work and education, I have an Associate's Degree in Computer Networking and a couple IT certifications, thus, my career is in IT. My current position at work is SQL Server Administrator but I have previously worked Help Desk and Hardware Tech jobs as well. Definitely prefer the sysadmin sort of role much better than those. SQL Server Admin in particular is pretty pleasant for me.
