I've played instruments for most of my life. I started my journey playing piano. I wanted to be different so in middle school I started playing the Oboe. I have a special love for double reeds but I had to learn the saxophone because we were not allowed to march oboes. To dangerous, I guess. Now that I'm an adult I wanted to branch out but still have to keep the weird factor going.. I fell in love with the bass. Maybe because I've always been on an instrument that played melody or just the fact that I love watching Flea jumping around and thought I would enjoy playing like him (of course, without the jumping lol). It was a lot of fun but now I want to learn to play the melodies, the moving parts, the fun parts. My biggest challenge will be that I am a right handed girl, playing left handed, on a right handed guitar. I am use to being weird so I think I got this. This should be an awesome journey!
