The Album of the year

This Fall was really great for Metal releases and my Album of the year was definetly one of them. Now I couldn't decide which of those would be the one best Album of this year but I thought I list my top picks and y'all could do the same or give your opinion on the topic.

So here we go:

Spiritbox - Eternal Blue
Ice Nine Kills - Welcome to Horrorwood
Trivium - In the Court of the Dragon
Jinjer - Wallflower
Bullet for my Valentine - self titled
Seether - Si vis Pacem Parabellum
Gojira - Fortitude

If I had to choose an order this would probably be it, although the top 3 are constantly switching. Right now my Top one would be INK. Can't wait to hear your picks!

Also new Volbeat in december is gonna be pretty interesting, they finally have some awesome Riffs again. Though Not Album of the year worthy

The albums that I listened to the most this year are:

Bo Burnham - Inside
- If i was to recommend one comedy special, it would be this one. I never really find them to be funny but this one is unlike aynthing you've ever seen.

Harry Mack - The Omegle Bars Vol. 1 & 2
- The GOAT at freestyle rap

The Night Flight Orchestra - Aeromantic II
- I love this band. It's a side project of the lead singer of Soilwork.

Bones - FromBeyondTheGrave
- Really good dark/horror rap album.

Thomas Bergersen - Humanity Chapter II
- In the 18th century people had Mozart. In the 21st we have Thomas Bergersen. Insane composer.

Also new Volbeat in december is gonna be pretty interesting, they finally have some awesome Riffs again. Though Not Album of the year worthy

Dude, I cannot wait for new Volbeat! I loved all the singles so far, so I'm very hyped! I'll have to get back to ya with my Albums of the Year, but I'm pretty sure Senjutsu will be there somewhere, and Bullets new album was badass! I need to listen to more stuff

Didn't like the Singles that were released in summer. But Shotgun Blues and becoming are bangers!

Honestly the last two years have just blurred together into one big blob for me, so I had to check what albums actually were released this year
I'm not much into metal, but here are some of my faves:

• cleopatrick - BUMMER
• King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard - L.W.
• Des Rocs - A Real Good Person in a Real Bad Place
• Hayley Williams - FLOWERS for VASES / descansos

Also De Staat have released some new singles that I am pretty hyped about.

Awesome picks. I wasn't sold on Fortitude until I heard those songs live on Sunday. Gojira played maybe 4 songs from it, and they all slayed.

Awesome picks. I wasn't sold on Fortitude until I heard those songs live on Sunday. Gojira played maybe 4 songs from it, and they all slayed.

The reason Fortitude is not higher on the list are "Fortitude" and "the chant" because that's a bit of a weak Point of the Album. The Rest absolutely slays!

So, my list is about to be short af lol but for me its:

Iron Maiden- Senjutsu

Now, I gotta got catch up on a whole years worth of music

* I knows there’s another thats interchangeable with the Halloween soundtrack but I need to go back and remember what it is

I’ve also been loving Ghost’s track for Halloween Kills, “Hunters Moon”.
And the new Slipknot track was dirty and gritty and I loved it haha

Can very much relate to this. I “discovered” Sum41 songs, Billy Talent songs, and a few other punk rock Canadian bands as well! The Creepshow and Mute! All been out for years now

I love the new mastodon but it's been out for just a couple of days so it hasn't grown on me yet but Pushing the Tides is awesone. I love that riff!
