Sun valley schreder problem

I recently got a Sun Valley schreder the one with the sustainia. I got it setup and all but the guitar or the nut keeps cracking when I pull the bar. I have checked every screw but all of them ware tight enough. Do you have any idea how I can fix this?

I’ve had mine for a year and I’ve never had anything like that happen to me

Previous owner probably did that and wanted to get rid of it. I’ve never heard of that.

Yes!!! Dont tighten the set screw, easier to pop it in or out
