Help with interface selection

I’m looking for an interface that can mic a whole drum kits. Does anyone have suggestions from real experience in capturing drums?

I've had great results with the focusrite 18i20! It has 8 inputs and will do the trick for a intermediate micing. If you wanna go basic, go with the 4 inputs sound interface but the more you mic your drum, the more you will be able to control it in the mix!

I know right panning a stereo drum really accomplishes nothing no matter how much you add EQ
