Pre-birthday celebration last night got the best of me. Note to self: dont tell people its your birthday bc youre guaranteed to get drunk

Got a lot to record this weekend, thankfully i get both Saturday and Sunday to record! Finally my cover of PG’s Angels Solo, the song “dont ask me no questions” by skynyrd (with a tasty solo by Mr. Gary Rossington), and the next in my shred solo’s, Nightmare by Syn himself. Gonna be a good weekend!
2 10 hour days out of state, pretty sure i lost 10 lbs from all the sweat from the heat gonna ride the rest of this week out and spend some time with my guitar. Party on People

In between work, practice on the tricky parts in “Angels”, and my social life, i finally went back through and have all the positions of the major scale memorized and ran through them allll for like an hour straight my question for you guys, When you practice scales, without thinking about it, do you alternate pick or eco pick? Like whats your muscle memory go to first? Its eco picking for me, but Let me know!
Chipped a tooth, worked 10 hours, and was drenched in my own sweat all day. Just another day in the life

Truck fixed
Angels solo almost done Learn all of “i know a little” note for note because my mom wants to see me play it ⬜️
So im still practicing the outro solo to Angels, but given that my truck needs attention its gonna be a while before i can get it ready to post
So i started my truck after work today, and got a huge puff of blueish-white smoke from my tailpipe and then nothing. Revved my engine, and nothing. Did some investigating, and turns out i have bad valve seals which is causing oil to leak into my cylinder head, and burning off during startup. Guess i have my saturday plans now
time to shake the rust off these mechanic skills
First night of 2nd shift and hopefully only 1 of 2. I am deaaaad

Work on a saturday, carrying over 20, 20 foot long sticks of big pipe, my guitar feels lighter than air(<—Dio song reference that nobody gets)

Feeling incredibly unmotivated to practice lately. Cant wait for my mini vacation from work
Seriously thinking about transcribing some of the famous Star wars scores into guitar, such as Order 66 and duel of the fates, i just think it would be cool
Saturday: Shreds like a beast, impeccable technique
Sunday: cant do a fraction of what he could do on saturday
Been steady jamming to 90’s hip hop, and its been a great choice -
