Love the Blueberry burst on that LP - it's super pretty, and sounds sweet. I like where you're going but I will offer advice. Since you're clearly able to multitrack, start with a click, even if you don't want to do drums. It will help you stay in time and keep all your instruments synced up (as...

Please Tell Me How My Cover Sounds

It's a good start. Your two guitars are out of sync with each other, which leads me to believe that you recorded the first one to the backing track, and then the second one to the first one. Record each side's guitar part without the other playing in your monitor. Follow the drums, every time. I...

Syn Rig Tour 2023 - Coming Soon!

Nice! Actually the album was all done with pedals, and Syn had to spend months of 12-hour days recreating the album's tones in the AxeFX for touring. He did also talk about possibly selling an album tone pack for AxeFX on the Synner store, but that's not definite in any way - he's just...

    High gain distortion pedal

I don't really use pedals but I did get some for when Syn sends me one of the new amps. The Revv G3 (purple) is my favorite higher gain pedal.

Any Guitarists that play Live, How long does it take to feel comfortable on stage?

To add to Radu's excellent answer, I think a high percentage of performers feel it at least a LITTLE, and it goes away after the first song or two. Rarely, a successful performer NEVER gets over it, at all. Barbra Streisand comes to mind.

    Resurrected my account from 2019!

Awesome! Glad he made it out there and still looks good!

    Are backing tracks worth using?

If you doing exercises, a metronome might be a better choice, but if you're doing a lead or melody or playing a whole song, then absolutely. In my formative years, I found that playing along to albums and cassettes (yeah, this was before CDs and the internet) got me ready for playing in a band.

    BIG NEWS - "Nobody" Guitar

So it would seem. When I talked to him, he didn’t have one yet, so he was definitely planning on premiering it last night. But that guitar is exactly what he described as the Acid Rain.

    Deathbats Club

It’s basically your perpetual “season pass” for band and fan club perks. I’ve only got a basic bat, but I’ve got a free pair of seats in the best section in the arena for the show in Phoenix. They had a meet and greet/Halloween party at A7XWorld headquarters in Cali, and I also had free entry to...

Trying to diagnose the buzz/hum/ground noise

If you can't find the ground wire, maybe you forgot it?

Trying to diagnose the buzz/hum/ground noise

There are multiple pickups, right? Does it buz when the switch is on all the different combinations? In your wiring diagram, there is (lower center) "Ground wire from bridge" soldered to the bridge pickup tone pot. Is that connection good? Also, the solder on pickup wiring is very finicky. I...

Trying to diagnose the buzz/hum/ground noise

There should be one wire that goes from a pot (usually the tone pot, I think, but don’t know if it matters) to a piece of metal completely outside of the signal path. (I said wiring loop instead of signal path because I couldn’t think of the term).

Trying to diagnose the buzz/hum/ground noise

If the buzz goes away when you touch it, then it's usually a grounding issue. Since it goes away when the volume is turned down on the guitar, it's definitely in the guitar. Do you have the whole wiring setup grounded to a metal contact point outside the wiring loops? In a Floyd guitar, the...
