    For this particular song, the verse was in key of F major, and then they changed to F minor in the pre-chorus & chorus itself. I don't know what you call that - I think it's parallel modes or something. Not a lot of pop songs in this era does that. A lot of their songs have such arrangement...

    @ari.mac From what I've read and understood in this thread, it's likely that the input jack is just internally faulty, since you mentioned that it's an old guitar. Replacing the input jack won't burn a hole in the pocket, so you might wanna have it changed :)

    That's a beast amp, sis. I've ever owned one before too. I'm not entirely sure what's your full rig like, but with my experience even with the Line 6 Spider IV 30 watt, I've never had issues dealing with sustain or gain loss with it, especially in the Metal & Insane channels! Might wanna try...

    Yup, the Katana(in my sole opinion) was also a little too digital on the distortion end for my taste. I'm using the Blackstar ID BEAM and it works like a dream! Not the best, but it tops the Katana for my taste :) And the Line 6 Spider series comes between the Blackstar and Katana :)
