    These are all great suggestions! I have been trying to go slow, but I’m much mine my dad in that I sometimes lack patience…and think I should be able to play faster :). I will take these for a test run next practice!!

    Whenever I come into the school for my lesson, I run through the chords I've learned so far and practice each one. Any tips for smoother transitions between chords? I start with Em and work through Em, G, E major, and Am...and I really clunk going from Em to Am (you'd think that'd be easy!)...

    It's been almost six months!! But I'm super stoked to have a grown up guitar, lol! I noticed I'm not muting strings this go round, and I know it's because of the full size fret board! Thank you! I'm super excited to keep sharing now that I've gotten started again!

    It sounds amazing! Took a bit to get it tuned (hence the broke strong, lol), but now we’re good. Once I get back at it, I’ll post a video!

    I'm so excited! Because this is my life, I already broke a string (I had strings on hand, thankfully), but it sounds so good! Am going to noodle a bit, get a feel for it, and then dive back in =). So excited to have a new guitar to play with!

    So Far Away. This is my anthem right now. So much bad stuff going on and it feels like we're never going to catch a break. I feel you on the dark stuff...we lost my in-laws seven months apart...and while there's a lot to do, I also feel like I need a break. So Far Away just describes my life...

    I can't find my Synner shirt (it's in a drawer, with hundreds of other black t-shirts, lol, and I'm too lazy to sort through them all). But I did find this pic of me at work, trying one of our poppy hats we use for the Wizard of Oz, wearing my Synner mask!

    Thank you! I have definitely found this is good for moving around the strings and remembering where the notes are. I'm a note reader and having the notes and the tab is really helping with that. I have a long way to go but I feel like it's coming finally =).

    Thank you!! I am trying to work on chords on the acoustic...and definitely have issues with muted strings. But I will keep working when I can, as I know chords are important to playing. P.S. I like your quote from Stephen King, haha!
