I'm hoping the electric makes the chords easier...I know it's all down to practice, but if I'm not pressing so hard my fingers feel like they're splitting in two, maybe it will be easier? :D The Sound of Music is one of my all time favorite musicals! A7X live on instagram....little spoiler for the fans??
I watched it for a second while I was at work (I have a spot I can hide away, haha), and that drum beat had me grooving. I doubt, too, that it was a spoiler but I hope it was! Sensitive Skin on Fingers
I definitely have electric guitar on this years wishlist. Going to take some serious budgeting, but I'm hopeful. I have wondered if an electric might be easier as far as pressure on the strings. I feel like I have to put a lot of pressure on each string playing the acoustic.- Aightball

I do dream of being a snowbird down south someday, ha! Sadly, I am stuck here for the long term in that respect =). But I will see if we can add to the humidity...I know some trucks and they seem to work, so may do that ahead of practice.- Aightball

I have definitely noticed that going string by string changed a lot for my chord playing...it's easier to hear the muted notes and adjust. I will try playing the chord once and then switching to see if the transitions get easier =)!- Aightball

I'm working on that, too =). My goal is get a beginner electric this year if I can swing it, but next year for sure. I have been wondering if the neck is less wide on an electric...and considering this is a half-size acoustic (it was free), it makes me think I'll never be able to play a...- Aightball

That was one thing I really focused on last night was doing one note at at time (I edited that out or this video would've run close to 5 mins, lol!) and it definitely helped! I will keep doing that and adjusting as needed =)!- Aightball

I had no clue how to word that title, lol! Anyway, I battle super dry skin all winter long and HAVE to use lotion on it. Otherwise, it cracks and bleeds, etc. How do you all deal with super sensitive finger tips? Tonight, I'm pressing down as hard as I can on the strings working on chords...- Aightball
