    As one who reads music, I find myself frustrated because I can’t find the notes on the strings very well. Is it important to know the notes on each string in the beginning? Should I tamp down my sight reading desire for now?

    Hand position on the acoustic. I need to go back to the first couple lessons and see if I missed something. SO was showing me how to use my finger tips tonight…so maybe covering that?

    Interesting…definitely something I’m working on. My question is, as a newbie, how does hand position differ for scales, etc? I’m on a small acoustic and find my hand position changes by which string I’m on :). Any good tips?
