What are you working on?
I've been working full time on Beat It's solo for the last two months. It's very challenging as I'm not a shredder, I can't really play it by now but practicing pays, I can now play it with a metronome at 75% speed. I'm so happy 😆- Nocturne

I don't think you risk breaking strings with a new set. If you want to be sure, maybe try light gauge strings.- Nocturne

What's your guitar routine?
I don't have one. I should though. I guess my routine for the moment is my practice of the Beat It solo. I do like 10 minutes of playing it with a backing track, then 15 minutes of practicing it with a metronome and 10 minutes of practicing very small sections like a measure. I add about 20...- Nocturne
