Thanks. I saw Matt downpicking at lightning speed and I was like "how? how? how?". Alternate picking was not a choice, it was a necessity. You can try alternate picking that riff and let me know if something sounds off. I will try to help
I did find new motivation from the launch of this new website. I am practicing more consistently, login everyday to see what's going on here, checking out the riffs page. It has been great
Just Grind dude. There's nothing more than Practice aka Grinding. It will maximize the your potential and your talent. But practice stuff that's right for YOU. That is the hardest part, to figure out what to practice
man that's a solid question. Just my thought but I think only A7X can train you to A7X stuff later on. Find some songs which has solos that you can learn. Seize the day comes to my mind instantly but there are other songs. Start fro there and work your way up through various A7X songs

Thanks.I completely agree with you. I use a free drum machine which has a limited drum patterns. I am learning to make drum patterns which fit the riffs etc
