Whats your favourite guitar solos of all time?

I would have to say the solos in Comfortably Numb, it's probably the only song I listen to just for the solos. There are lots of great songs with solos that I enjoy, but very few grab me like Gilmour's did in that song.

Sure, it has been a while since we have seen anything from her so I nominate @Aileé Guerra Aréizaga. Look forward to seeing her progress!

Make The Riff Section Great Again

Threw down some slow blues/rock lead improv, always been a rhythm guy so this is something I am pretty new to. Scale knowledge is kinda lacking hence being tethered to 3 pentatonic boxes in the video. My method; listening to the backing track a few times, without a guitar, and 'play' licks in...

    Slow Blues Jam - Em

Stepping out of my comfort zone and trying some lead improv. Usually not something I dip into very often, mainly due to lack of scale knowledge, but the only way to getter better is by doing. Hope you enjoy it. Backing track - https://youtu.be/I7LmHILR9AQ

    Almost feel like giving up

Good to hear Rute, I think this is the result we were all hoping for, a compromise that works for both you and your parents. Good luck with your future studies!

I weave mine between the EAD strings, always ready to go whenever I am.

    Almost feel like giving up

It sounds like your your parents have good intentions, they just want what they think is best for you. The problem is it's what THEY think is best for you, which may not always line up with what you think is best. If possible speak to you parents about how you feel and try and reach a...

    BOSS Katana Patches

A couple of additional clean patches, hopefully will help @Dominik Gräber on the path to find the cleans he is looking for. Sorry no time for a video at the moment though, will update later when time permits. First is probably closest of the patches I have to the Katana Mini cleans, almost...

    Tube Amp VS Solid state.

I have never used a tube amp, so can't really compare. Having said that I don't recall not being able to get a good tone out of a solidstate amp and my Katana chugs with the best of them.

    Hit the Tone

I have a few different clean tones, I'll sift through them and see if anything may suit.

    Hit the Tone

Is there a particular clean sound you are chasing?

    Riff Page and Update

Perhaps just move it up so it sits between lessons and forums in the menu?

    Scalloped fretboard or no?

I have never used a scalloped fretboard so I have a question in turn. What about the scalloped fretboard makes bends easier? As for your question, I would suggest using your guitar and jumping into the Introduction to Bending Strings lesson. Maybe stick with half and whole step bends initially...
