Thank you, Eduardo! There may have been a variation or two over the years that I'm not aware of, but as far as I know - that "iconic tone" was always amp gain. Early on, (COE, Self, Nightmare), it was a Bogner. No distortion pedals. Once he got the the Hellwin up and running he used that - also no distortion pedals. Just a Boss Compressor pedal. Welcome! Go through the lessons. Skip the ones you know - but make sure you REALLY know them. It never hurts to go over something you know "pretty well". The Major Scale – Lesson 7
Not sure intervalic formula is all that important. The important thing is to be able to play the scale, (so you can pick notes from the scale). I don't really think about intervalic formula at all when I play. It would be like thinking about spelling when you talk. I might be thinking bigger...- Brian Haner Sr.
