Guitar Recording and amp sims
Hey Dom! You need a USB interface that converts your guitar signal to digital. There are super cheap ones from M-Audio or Behringer.($50). If you want to get into something a little more pro, I suggest the Focusrite Scarlet. Next - you need an amp plug-in, (basically a computer amp sim). Right... -

Practicing each lesson
The only way to retain the information is to apply it to your playing. So if you're playing a song that has C Am Dm G7 - try playing it in a different position. Practice it for a few minutes a day for a week, then move positions again and do that for a week. It's virtually impossible to retain...- Brian Haner Sr.
