    Changing the way I hold my pick

    I changed my picking style after joining the school as well to have a more "standard" picking hand. But at the end of the day, if your technique allows you to do what you need to do, it does not really matter....Look at Marty Friedman.....work pretty well for him!

    Yess Focusrite came with a bunch of software, some of which I still have not downloaded. But again, its just the lite version, pretty limited but still very useful

    I got some Ableton Live lite with my Focusrite, stil learning how to do it. But as everything, it will come with time. Slow and steady wins the case.
