You can play a lot of things. Technically in a C major progession just to start of (because I do not command any other scales) You can play C major scale C Major pentatonic scale Chromatic scale But in an advance sence. Think less of scales and more of notes that harmonize with the chords...- Christian Schulze

That is basically it. Where are the chords comming from ...they are the chords of C major...so you can play a C major scale if the chord progression is in C major. The progession could be in D Dorian too.- Christian Schulze

First of all fellow leftie here!!! I personally I play left handed cause It feels more natural to me (played air guitar all my life left handed before picking the instrument up) But I hear it is in the beginning just as tought either way you play.
