    Guitar strings

The only issue might be the need for intonation and truss rod adjustments, but neither is a big deal. I love 9-42s, and have always come back to them, even on my Les Paul. String gauge is ONLY about personal preference, unless you're getting into baritone (long scale) models. The strings you...

    My First Band Jam

William is right. The only reason I can still hear ANYTHING at 52 is because I was adamant about wearing good plugs at band practice and shows.

    My First Band Jam

Oh man, I remember those days. Enjoy it. Love it.

    Schecter Syn Custom NT

Not necessarily one piece and every electric guitar requires a truss rod or the neck will be bent enough to shoot arrows before long.

Syn's Fractal Audio Systems Preset - A Demo

The included cabs will also work with the 2. I note that this particular preset came with the Hellwin A Mix cab, right?

    Digital processor trouble

You can TRY just shooting canned air into every crack, vent or hole you can find on the unit and see if that helps first.

Syn's Fractal Audio Systems Preset - A Demo

Well, that was no small amount of work! Thanks, man! I'll see how close I can get in the 2.

    Digital processor trouble

The only thing you can really try at home is to open the case and spray the guts with canned air to clean off the contacts. While it’s open you can also see if there were any spills or anything in there, and carefully clean with Q-Tips and rubbing alcohol.

Syn's Fractal Audio Systems Preset - A Demo

I have the cab pack (the whole package that was like $140). I demo'd it on YouTube when Syn premiered it several years ago.

Syn's Fractal Audio Systems Preset - A Demo

I'd need screen grabs of every tab for every block. I think we're talking about a LOT of screenshots. I would share the resulting preset if I got it to sound close. Most here would consider me pretty trustworthy on that front. :-)

Syn's Fractal Audio Systems Preset - A Demo

I'd be interested in you sending me some screenshots of the amp and effect settings so I can get as close as possible on the AxeFX2XL+. If you're willing, I'll DM you my email address.

Fractal is giving away a Syn cabinet and PRESET for the AxeFX.

No sir. It will only work with the AxeFX. The whole thing will only work with the AxeFX3. The cabinet will work with other AxeFX products. The cab is one of the Hellwin 4x12 cabinets.

    Floyd rose troubleshooting

If the string is in tune and it's floppy, you need a heavier string for that one, The Floyd ain't the problem - physics is. The snappy sound COULD be that your neck has some backbow to it, in other words, the string is barely almost not quite but damn close to bottoming out. If you think it's...

    Tuning

So the method in the video is tuning the guitar to itself, meaning not necessarily CORRECT. The amp tuner or the tuner app can be extremely accurate, so unless you've developed perfect pitch, stick to that. A Snark clip-on tuner can be had on Amazon for $10-15. This one is my favorite: Snark on...

    Rhythm Combinations

You forgot about 16th notes, 32nd notes, triplets, and various combinations therein. You're gonna need a bigger notebook  .

    Gig

The hardest part of almost any gig is the beginning. You'll be awesome. Know your stuff and get out there and kill it!

Is there a way to print the tabs.

Looking at the etudes, you could just transcribe the fastest take (the first one) and then slow it down to work on it slower anyway, so it really wouldn't be TOO bad.
