    I figured as much, thanks.

    What studio is that in?

    Syn 2018, hoping 2023!

Well, he is definitely gonna be making his way around the world this year!

How do I stop my fingers from flying to far?

Practice slower and with deliberate intent to keep them controlled. Only when that becomes automatic, slowly speed up. It could take days, weeks, or months. Also, don't be too hard on yourself. There are plenty of top-tier players who move their fingers "too far away." Some even do it ONLY on...

Hey everyone I haven't posted here in a while but I wanted to share my bands newest song with you all

This is really good. Reminds me a bit of Hoobastank when they were still good.

I'm going to do it! (Change tuning on syn custom-s)

    Awesome!! Good work!

I'm going to do it! (Change tuning on syn custom-s)

Probably add an extra spring (or replace with newer ones if these are stretched out). Starting over won't change the laws of physics. 4 springs on heavy strings is pretty normal.

    Impedance and Wattage

These were provided to me a couple years ago by @Eric Kane and might be helpful.

Trying to work out the intro to a song, kinda lost

I like how here people argue over themselves not being right, where elsewhere people will start all kinds of shit insisting they are absolutely right.

I'm going to do it! (Change tuning on syn custom-s)

Oh yeah! All my goddamn fault! I’ll be driving all day tomorrow (Sunday), but I’ll be checking in regularly again after that.

    NOBODY

Near as can figure, zack is in drop c and Syn is in drop d. Zack plays the low notes and chords.

Trying to work out the intro to a song, kinda lost

^^ Chris is way better at that shit than me, so follow his lead over mine ^^ That said, the main tones led me to believe Eb Std, and I got those open B and high E notes, as you called them, from a Bb barre chord. But again, this shit ain't my forte. I haven't seriously worked out a song in years.

    Casadastraphobia

I'm a huge proponent of mental health work with a professional. There's so much stigma attached to it, but it can be life-changing if you do it right.

Each of the notes is part of a chord, so this is just arpeggiating the chord. Learn it slow and then build speed accordingly. My best guess is the guitar is tuned to Eb Standard (1/2 step down from standard) and the chords outlined are D5 (xx0 2 3 x), a passing tone on C (5th string 3rd fret)...

    Casadastraphobia

I’m a firm believer in therapy to help dig deep and find the root cause, then do the guided work to overcome it. or, you know, try a big hat.

    Drop Tuning Thumb Placement

It's pretty much whatever's comfiest for you. For me, that means the thumb is slightly north of the center of the back of the neck (like behind the 4th/D string) and tilted 45 degrees towards the headstock.

    Floyd rose 1500 issues

There should be a little screw in that hole that you can adjust with a 2mm Allen wrench. If you don't have either, you will need to get. https://www.floydrose.com/

Something I wanted to share with everyone :)

    How did I forget Izzy?

Something I wanted to share with everyone :)

Absolutely. You don't have a song without rhythm, and lead guitar without a song is just boring widdly-widdly. Rhythm is the difference between the guitarist on a stage (whether in a bar or a stadium) and a guitarist on YouTube or Instagram - there's absolute talent in both, but they're not...
