    Captain Ed's AOTM - October: Iron Maiden - Live After Death

    One of the greatest live albums of all time, along with Judas Priest's Unleashed in the East, UFO's Strangers in the Night, KISS Alive! and Alive II, and (*ducks from flying tomatoes*) Iced Earth's Alive in Athens.

    Captain Ed's AOTM - September: Def Leppard - On Through the Night

    But back on to On Through the Night, I really love this album. "Wasted" is a classic and has one of my favorite riffs ever written by any band, period. But my favorite song, however, is "Rocks Off"

    Retro Active is also a pretty good album, despite the fact that it's mainly b-sides, but I dig it. "Desert Song" is one of their most underrated songs and the ballad "Miss You in a Heartbeat", despite it being on the cheesy end of things, is a guilty pleasure. I love the guitar work in that song.

    They’re releasing a new album in November and the two songs I’ve heard from it have been amazing. Forget all the other metal bands releasing new albums this year; Voyage is my most anticipated record of 2021.

    Song itself is okay.. just not really “single” material, if that makes any sense. Feels more like a filler song. I like the chorus and it has some nice lead guitar work from Slash and some interesting electronic/industrial elements sprinkled in. The main downside with this song for me is the lyrics…
