    Cheers dudes, turns out im not the only one, I often practice faster than I should or pick different patterns to learn but it is easier to stick to one pattern and one speed and increase it when I feel ready, I will try a few weeks at one speed to make sure everything is clean.

    Wow! That was really good, everything was in perfect time and played great. All the little parts were included and it sounded very reminiscent of the original. The only thing I picked up ( and this is really picky and not a major issue) is the pinch harmonic during the “Nothing hurts my world”...

    I found that using octaves helps quite a lot as I am familiar with the notes on the low E and A strings so it is easier to map it out knowing that.

    I think I may have missed something really important before doing this, fret board knowledge, I have done 0 theory before so I don’t know where all the notes are and I think that my be what is stopping me so far. I will return to this subject at a later date.

    Th problem I had is that I always used the root on the low E so Instead of using 3rd fret on the A string I would use the 8th fret on the E but I wasnt sure as to why the A string i string instead. Does it link to different inversions?

    I tend to go for loudness and clarity but without over distortion or lack of play-ability (I use EMG Zakk Wylde for reference so being too high isn’t too much of an issue for magnetic pull) However you have a sustainiac so I would assume that the higher they are the better the effect.

    Cheers for the reply! I am yet to try that out but as i reached 140 bpm (What I can currently sweep at) I noticed some cracks starting to show so I will definitely give this a shot.

    When you mentioned about minimal wrist movement, does that only apply to larger sweeps because I find when I am doing 4 string sweeps that I can do it with my wrist without many problems (I am however sweeping slower than the song)
