The Harmonic Minor Scale - Lesson 101
It's definitely one of the key flavors to the Avenged sound. I noticed Syn seems to use Phrygian Dominant type motifs when he's doing his live solo breaks - it's so clever cause they don't sound like typical cliche cheesy metal Phrygian dominant leads :love: one of my favorite things about his style- Chris Johnston

I didn't actually think of a tap tempo/note values option tbh, that would be handy! (dotted eighths would be fun) Like from a learning standpoint it isn't the biggest issue for someone to go onto another site for a click, or even download a phone app to sit with while they're on their laptop...- Chris Johnston

I'm all about keeping traffic on the school so I don't think an on-site Metronome would hurt to have at all - I tend to just stick a google metronome on if I need one and it still works if I'm on other tabs on my browser. Right enough! A lot of the time I end up doubling back myself on the gain, cause it gets a bit mushy sounding :LOL: I'd recommend playing around with some compression if you're looking for that kinda tone, it was the kinda eureka effect for me when doubled with gain to get the sound I was...- Chris Johnston

A good Metal sound can depend on a few things - The way I tend to get a sort of A7X like tone is - (this is with my Strat) : 1. Bridge pickup on guitar 2.
