    Guitar Power chord fixes

Power chord work with 1 and 3, too, just barre both. I do power chords 1 & 3, and octaves I typically do 1 & 4, so there's a little pinky effort for you there, too. Best way to build the pinky is to WORK the pinky. Make it tired, and you're making it stronger.

    New Megadeth Album

Two playthroughs, and I don't really know song names, but this is quite good, and very aggressive, if not as memorable as Golden Era stuff. The biggest thing I came away with from this is my god, what a stunningly precise rhythm player Mustaine is, and at his age, he's as ferocious and precise...

    New Megadeth Album

Will be giving this a listen today. I enjoyed Dystopia a lot, but it didn't have a long shelf life with me - after a couple weeks I moved on from it and never went back. Love Kiko's playing, though, so really looking forward to giving this a good chance. PS: I saw Megadeth at a large club in...

Should A7X make a neural DSP plugin?

I think a lot of folks would like it, but it doesn't seem likely Syn would do it. He likes providing tools, but for people to find their own sound with those tools.

    Re watching a stream

You would still need VPN for the lessons, as those are hosted on SoundSlice and it’s a limitation with them.

Does my picking technique hurt my hand?

I don't think so, but everyone is different, and if your body is yelling at you, it's up to you to figure out if it's saying "I'm not used to this, so I'm going to give you pain until I *am* used to it" or "I fucking hate this and you're going to pay in pain until you stop."

    syns guitar pedal

The pedal is being built and distributed by Syn directly, meaning he has a company building them under his own brand. The company building them has been having supply chain issues with at least one specific part, delaying mass production. The upcoming album was made, at least in part, with the...

    And that fixed it?

    Re watching a stream

I've encountered that too, and on one of MY OWN STREAMS. I brought it to @alexj and @Mike Creuzer and they said they would look into it, but they believe it's an issue with Vimeo.

    First song you learned

Flight of Icarus, by iron Maiden, without the solo. I'm old.

    Traditional VS Tremolo Pickup?

The magnets are no different, they're just spaced an additional 1mm apart on trem/f-spaced.

    Starting bits.

Probably best and easiest to replace with the same strings for the first few times. Using different string guages on a guitar with a floating bridge (like your Floyd Rose) requires many additional adjustments.

    Starting bits.

You'll want a clip-on Snark tuner as well, unless the Katana has a built in one (and maybe even if it does). A string-winder and some cutting pliers for when you do your first string change (learn to do them yourself - it's important - we have videos to help).

I actually am not into any kinds of sportsball contests, but y'all enjoy yourselves.

    Two Fancy Dudes #1

Ass-eating is a fine art. Don't knock it til ya tried it. And this stream was gold. Not an HP fan, but thoroughly enjoyed the whole replay. Well done, fancy lads.

Should i be proud of this critical acclaim singing?

I think there are parts where you do really well, and others that are less so. Shadows' style is, as far as I know, one of the more difficult to master, with the natural voice and grit and power and such. I think with more practice you could develop it better, but there were parts that were...

    Roadie Job?

Marco's right. Typically, one becomes a roadie or tech by doing so for a local band that's just expanding to the point of needing help, and being good at it. Of course, if the band goes nowhere or breaks up, you're kind of back at square one. You could also try getting a job at a local venue to...
