I went to device and under audio driver it’s shows the options “ASIO4all, waveform which is the audio for the computer, and a bunch of other options I can’t remember but it doesn’t show anything about an unrecognized USB Device
I’m attempting to get our drum part recorded onto reaper. We have a Roland td9 and I connected a USB cable from the drum set into our laptop with reaper on it. When I open reaper it says “there was an error loading the audio hardware” we have an ASIO4all driver installed onto the laptop and...
Yeah I need to get better with my music theory 😆. Thanks guys I’ll look at what I recorded tonight and try and play around with something different. If I remember right I think I used a 4th. I’ll try a 5th or something idk
I’m writing a solo and it has a dual guitar harmony in it. It’s in the key of F#minor and the harmony that I came up sounds good, but it sounds a lot like a Black Veil brides song and I don’t want that. I want something different. I need some more knowledge about what notes harmonize well in...
Like Ed said just add that vibrato in between every alternate picking/sweep arpeggio he does and you’ll be good! I gotta say that’s probably one of the best covers for that solo I’ve seen in a while! Rock on dude 🤟🏼
I mean that’s not a bad thing at all if you ask me. That may just be more prevalent in your playing style than others. Me personally I do hammer ons and pull offs every once in a while but I don’t over do them. It’s really just your style of playing and how much you utilize it. Syn does it a lot...
So I’ve got this awesome idea to put custom inlays on my guitar that say WILD on it cause my last name is Wildman (kinda like a stage name I guess, partially inspired by syn having SYN on his guitars) but can anyone give me some info on what company’s make and sell Letter inlays that I could...
Yeah my email doesn’t send me notifications about the school like it used to. I have to actually look at my email to see them. I’ve been out of the loop here recently just cause I’m so busy. I hate it
What’s up guys, my band and I are recording songs right now and we are wanting do do some covers and some original songs and make it all into one album. (Check us out on Instagram our band name is Infinite Contention!! Give us a follow) anyway, I was told that in order to legally do covers and...
I’m sorry I’m just now answering all of you back lol no it’s a Vt40+. It has a headphone jack and a aux jack too. Thats all I know about it. I could probably read on the VOX website about whether or not it’s possible. Any more info would be awesome
I picked out a font on Dafont.com that we really like but idk if that is okay to use since all the fonts on there have been used in movies or for other bands. What would you guys suggest?
Plugins are great…but I love the metal sound on my VOX amp. It’s a tube amp and I thought I heard that you can do that to record your guitar. Is that true, or should I stick with plugins?
Actually @Ed I think what you said may work. I could have my friend download reaper on his laptop, take it to the drum set, use a usb or midi cable and then just transfer it from reaper on the laptop to reaper on my desktop. That should work I think… thanks Cap!
I would do it the other way if my friend had reaped on his laptop and if he could get all my recorded guitar parts on there without having to re record everything
