    Sweep Picking 1 – Lesson 79

My right hand on the lower palm keeps rubbing slightly against the strings when I'm sweeping. Is this the result of some incorrect form/technique? It feels like the only way to avoid this is by levitating my hand higher above the strings when sweeping but it starts to interfere with my sweep and...

    DISCO VOLANTE by Mr. Bungle

Check out their self-titled album.. full of circus clown sounds and monster aesthetics (if an album can convey aesthetics) but just really cool and unique. I probably wouldn't categorize them as being particularly "catchy" but I feel like the trade-off is a sort of next-level consciousness, kind...

    DISCO VOLANTE by Mr. Bungle

    Does A7X enjoy some Hip-Hop!?

In the "Making Of" documentary for the self-titled 2007 album, I believe they mention that they were inspired by hip-hop beats for the heartbeat 120 bpm on "Scream". Also, I have to imagine the autotune in "Lost" from that album had hip-hop inspirations.

Very helpful insights, thank you all. To answer the reoccurring question of what I'm looking for, I'd prefer to give it a heavy and deep tone for riffing that acts as a sort of bass but gives me the freedom to do sweeps and soloing(i've stayed away from actual DM tuning because I don't like the...

Hey all, I have a question for anyone to answer... I'm needing to record for a song that's in the key of D Minor, however, I'm unsure of which tuning will sound the best with this key... .Any suggestions??
