    Need help with barre chords

    What I did to learn how to Barre chords is start at smaller frets such as barring the fifth fret or 8th fret and picking each string to make sure they rung out. Once I had that down I moved them around and did the same thing again until it improved.

    I agree with Ids and Jak! I practice some things without an amp and it can make you realize what truly needs work cause there is no other sound other than what comes out of the guitar.

    Thanks for this post. I’ve been having a hard time with the CAGED minor and its frustrating me but I remembered when I couldn’t Get the G Shape barre so I know it just takes time. Some things may be easier than others and I am slowly accepting that.

    I would love to see a lesson or two on triads on the guitar. They make so much sense to me looking at a piano but when i try to figure some out on guitar it just throws me off.

    I like what Stuart said. Maybe to add on to what he said, add a search bar to the forums that way some people want a specific tag or a specific conversation they can find it easy.
