During the next few months I want to learn how to write solos. So this is my first attempt... (Song is Porcelain by Rising Insane)
What are your thoughts? I can't tell you yet whether I like the fast part.
I know how you feel. Whenever I want to write my own solo over a song I do it before the original solo is burned into my brain
However, well done!! Love that solo! It's groovyyy
You know, changing the tuning of a guitar with Floyd Rose is the worst thing in the world...
Like I said, exams are over. Now I got time to learn a little bit about mixing and hopefully songwriting
Thank you! That was one of the first a7x songs I liked!
The red guitar is in e standard and the syn gates guitar in drop C
You're right. The bass notes are not so clearly audible. Maybe I chose the wrong amp... Or I have to make them louder with an eq
I can also recommend audio interfaces.
Pro:
- You can easily record yourself (Hear mistakes, creating backing tracks, be creative...)
- You can get many different tones (Amps, Cabs AND effects!)
- Loop some riffs and play solos over it
- (Often) cheaper as the real amps
Cons:
- You need good...
This solo isn't that hard. What makes this difficult is the fact that your fingers will bleed after 5 times of playing it because of all these bendings 😂
Yeah, got the plec in my mouth 😂
While practicing the intro I changed between my index and my middle finger because I didn't have cornea (or horn skin [Google Translater😂]).
Apparently I had practiced more with my index finger. 😅
