    Is it even possible to do a whole step bend on the D string?

    If you try and bend the D string upwards then the string will go off the fretboard. I don’t know if it’s just me but it seems like you would need titanium fingers to do a whole step bend on the D string by bending it downwards. Is it even practical?

    How to stop the string slipping from your finger when string bending

    How? What part of the finger should I be string bending with? How hard do I need to be pressing to stop it slipping? I press harder and the string cuts into my finger (using medium gauge strings). really annoying. Any tips would be greatly appreciated! 🙂
