I have been trying to schedule an appointment with the local ENT, but getting an appointment where I live can be a bit tricky, so I am trying to look elsewhere, but I'm trying to get it looked at, as it is extremely annoying and a bit disorienting.
So recently I have been experiencing diplacusis, or double hearing. The hearing in my right ear is extremely pitched as opposed to my left ear, and it throws sounds off and makes everything sound weird and strange, especially with music, with this music sounds extremely pitched and out of tune...
So after taking another break due to mental health and family issues, I am back! And I figured I would come back with a song I have been listening too quite a bit recently, Ohne Dich, by Rammstein. I also wanted to challenge myself on the clean sections so I finger picked the clean sections...
Thank you all. It certainly is great to be back! It is definitely nice to find that love for playing again, makes everything even a little bit better :)
So hello. I took another kinda mini break from here and from guitar playing. Without going too much into my personal life I have been struggling, and am still struggling, really badly with my mental health due to my living situation and due to family members making my life really miserable, and...
I have such fond memories with this album. My dad used to play this album all the fucking time when I was a kid. Many a summer nights when we were out eating barbeque, this album was playing. I was never able to fully appreciate this album until I got older, but as I got older I was able to...
So..it's been a while. I have been in just the most horrible of moods, and just an awful mindset as of late, and it was because of that, that I lost the fire for playing and so I just took a bit of a break from well everything. But I'm back, and hopefully in a better mindset. I wanted to do a...
I hope I did this right. But here is my submission for the contest. I am honestly happy that I was able to play something after taking like 2 weeks off from guitar, so this was a nice way to ease back into something I thought I had lost the fire for. Good luck to everyone who decides to...
Good luck to everyone who enters! I haven't had the motivation to pick up guitar in a while, maybe this will be just the kick I need to get back into things!
So this is just a bit of a rant I guess. I picked up playing guitar last year during the pandemic and doing so just saved my life. It gave me something to do during the pandemic and it gave me an escape from my life. I instantly fell in love with it and kept that love throughout most of the time...
Decided to try and attempt and learn the ending solo of "Gypsy" lets just say I have never seen my dad more proud or interesting in what I'm learning in practicing haha.
Welcome to the family Gianna! We have an extemely welcoming and all around fun community here, as other have put it, like a big family! I hope you enjoy it here, once again welcome!!
Yes it is a nice feeling to play something easily after struggling on it. And as far as the solos I'm in between on them. I know what notes to play, and I don't have to play them super slow, but I cant play them fast either. So I can play them at medium speed, getting better at playing them...
I have been in an awful mindset recently, and I stopped playing for a while, which is something that I never do. But in doing so, when I picked up my guitar again I started learning Beg by Seether, a song I tried learning when I first started guitar and failed at back then, but now I can play...
