Never give up God makes things hard for you to test you to see if your worthy of that thing if it was easy everyone would do it and it wouldn’t be special. God will make it hard for you not impossible

That’ll improve your accuracy but do the work (i know this shit is boring as fuck but it pays off) and really pay attention to your hand don’t worry about a metronome or anything I would do it infront of a mirror just because it’s easier to see myself and a recording yourself would work so you...

Ok, first off I wouldn’t go into the 3 nps exercise that low on the neck get used to them higher up second work on a spider routine here’s a good video that will help you. But really hone in on your fingers ask yourself 1. Are my fingers behind the frets not on or infront or far behind the...

Though your hand wants to make a C shape and all 4 of your fingers should be curved to prevent interference with other strings unless your muting or playing chords

Can you show a picture (video of you playing) of how your current playing posture looks? A visual representation will help make the correction process easier (I promise no negativity only type of judging will help you not hurt you)

    A Cautionary Tale

Yeah that shit happens to me I found out if I take a rest from it go for a walk and leave my guitar alone for a day I’ll be back to where I was if not better. but it’s important to remind yourself why you started and have fun on the journey it wouldn’t be much of an experience if you just got...

Greetings Synners from across the globe, I have a question. If there are other tones from other bands that could be replicated, feel free to comment

https://www.fender.com/tone/search?q=Avenged%20sevenfold Like that for example you can just copy it into a mustang amp or try to put the present on an analog amp and it usually sounds close but it doesn’t sound bad some are spot on and some aren’t you’ve just gotta try and figure out which ones...

    Practicing

Hey so I’ve been practicing a lot recently (I usually aim for bout 12 hours if not minimum of 10) but since I’ve completed all my assignments and shit I don’t really know what to do besides keep repeating the same things over and over and I don’t feel like that’s the best way to grow any tips or...

If your able to you should try and get a fender mustang amp it’s 140ish USD and has a lot of effects built in (it’s a digital amp) it’s worth the money and the 25w is fuckin loud for its size so it would be decent for small gigs

Guitar Best way to clean your fretboard?

What I do I is I use the Dunlop deluxe cleaning kit I’ll first spray cleaner and prep on a cleaning cloth and rub it against the direction the wood goes (usually vertically) if that’s not enough then I’ll use a toothbrush (don’t use the one you use for your teeth that’s gross) which that...

    Putting a right foot forward

When learning theory especially on the guitar it is crucial to not learn scales and arpeggios as shapes but as notes on the neck. shapes are usually good for getting you places on the neck and not sounding like crap but the notes are what brings out the feeling and emotions. understand the how...

Guitar Help a dude with his first pedal setup?

Look at the boss harmonist pedal I think it has the option to make a whammy bar up or down at least according to its demo video it’s way cheaper than digitechs drop pedal but I’d go with the drop pedal for if you only want a good drop tuning sound
