    Ok well I found the problem. I only used amp sims until recently and after buying myself a tube amp, I tried the sustainiac again of course. Now it works perfectly, I’m a bit of an idiot

    I have already raised the height on the pickup which fixed the issue for cutting out on the b string. How close to the strings are we talking about because its already pretty close?

    I bought a second hand custom-s which was barely used and in good condition. Everything works apart from the sustainiac. I have replaced the battery with a new duracell one but it was only working in the lower strings. I raised the height and it worked on the b string also now but it still keeps...

    Thank you everyone. I have also looked at other videos at I think I have found my problem. I was taking my finger off the fretboard instead of unfretting the note and resting on the string which was making a bad pull off sound. Will mark this as solution case anyone else has my problem

    I have just started to learn sweep picking and my downstrokes are ok muting wise, but the upstrokes are a sloppy mess but i dont know how to mute the strings properly can anyone help?
