Here is the guitar solo (live take over the actual track) to my latest song, Eris! It probably took me as long to record the solo as it did to get every other part in the song recorded, but I like how it turned out! If you haven't already, check out the song in the link below...
Here is a fun little section from my upcoming song Eris! I tried to keep voice leading in mind by using these arpeggios shapes, so even though some of these shapes are quite difficult to keep clean, It adds a cool effect by keeping all the arpeggios in roughly the same region of the fretboard...
After about 6000+ takes, here is the sweep picking section to Selkies The Endless Obsession by Between the Buried and Me. This was the solo that made me want to sweep pick more than anything many moons ago! (a little added alternate picking wankery in the beginning of the video)
After about 6000+ takes, this was as close as I got to getting this section down thus far. This was the solo that made me want to sweep pick more than anything many moons ago! (a little added alternate picking wankery in the begining of the video)
It sounds rad! I think the "out of key" parts are kind of a D Phrygian Dominant sound as opposed to just D minor, but that still works really well over this backing track!
Been taking some of this extra time that most of the world has recieved to start recording some songs I've been working on. Here is the guitar duel lick from a song I'm calling Medieval Knievel. The pattern itself will really work your upward and downward pickslants AND your inside and outside...
The last sweep is by far the most odd shape I've ever attempted lol. I'm at that point where I've got it down, just need to do it a few (hundred) times to get it extra clean!
The recording has the absolute cleanest sweeps ever, so its extra intimidating!
Here is a fun little sweep picking sequence focusing on switching between 2 and 3 string diminished shapes in B Harmonic Minor

Thank you very much! Lots and lots of scale practice! And the Cracking the Code series to understand the science behind pick slanting was an incredible discovery for me!
