100% Beast and the Harlot Solo Tabs?

    Hey Guys! So I’ve slow-mo’d and listened to the Beast and the Harlot solo about a million times now, such as syn playing live/his video lessons/isolated solo and I think I have it down 98-100%. I notice Brian has played it a little different from the studio version to the lessons or live. I’m looking for feedback from all you Synners and THE ALMIGHTY! LOL!

    I’m playing in the exact areas on the fret board where syn is to produce that same sound. In the vid above where he is doing the lesson, he gets a little sloppy during the 1:26-1:29 mark making it hard to hear how he plays it live(NO OFFENSE BRIAN!). But in this video of the studio recording https://youtu.be/Uok4pn7nRAY at 2:06-2:08 I play those in the same area of the fret board and slowing it down, can find the exact notes he’s playing.
    In regards to the part of the studio recording at 2:18-2:24 I’ve slowed it down tons of times along with the live lesson and those are the notes that I can find being in that pattern, that’s the main part where I’m not 100% if it’s accurate though.

    Ill tab it out for you or something. The part where he’s playing differently is the ascending motif right before the last harmonized descending chromatic part that zacky doubles. I believe he picks 32nd notes there and it’s VERY fast. He doesn’t really do it live, because the audience has no idea and it’s too hard to pull off perfectly every night, is my guess. Also Syn hates that song so…

    You are super close dude! I was wrong on that one part btw, it goes from 16th notes to 16th note triplets. But yeah, here’s a power tab copy tabbed out 99.9%. There’s one or two questionable things. Im downloaded one that was close and just changed the solo. I think I also have MIA and Save Me solos tabbed out perfectly as well somewhere on my computer if anyone is interested.
    Also something to note is that recordings, especially when slowed down to like 25% REALLY show everyone’s inconsistencies and when it comes to transcribing, you have to decide between tabbing out EXACTLY what is on the recording vs. what the artist logically meant to play, especially when it comes to rhythmic placing. So sometimes there’s a 16th note run and they aren’t all EXACTLY perfectly spaced 16ths. The other part of this is that its kind of the artists touch and their “sound”. That being said, this is more what synyster, I believe, meant when he recorded it. Its also backed up by other live performances.

    I dont think theres a way to do it, also I’m working right now. All you have to do is right click the .pub file, hit “open with” and then go to your “program files” or “program files 86” or “program files 32” and go to power tab editor, open the folder, and choose the application as the default program. You should be good from there.
