I own pre-lawsuit Schecter PT.
I purchased it in 1993 from the original owner.
I am trying to find out when and where it was manufactured.
Any information would be appreciated.

Near as I can find, this is a Schecter Saturn, manufactured in Dallas, Texas USA area between 1983 and 1986 (possibly VERY early 1987). The neck is actually a Fender Telecaster neck, which Fender didn't mind while Schecter had been a small custom shop, but now that they were mass-producing, Fender was none too pleased about.

The lawsuit basically ended Schecter Guitars until it was bought by a Japanese investor, who brought the company back to California and back to building custom shop guitars.

It's possible there's more serial number-style info in the neck pocket or a pickup cavity, and you're unlikely to get better information without it. If you do find something more substantial, you can email Schecter from their website's contact page and ask them.
