A Note To Riff Posters Who Use Instagram

Good morning everyone! I want to send a note out to those students who use Instagram to post their Riffs. It's very difficult to give feedback when you use Instagram videos because we don't get a time scroll bar. So for example if I want to be able to rewind something to make sure I saw an error or something of that sort, not only can I not scroll back, I don't have a time stamp that I can give you if I want you to pay attention to a specific spot. So while having the ability to post from Instagram is great, it makes it difficult to give feedback on if there's an error that students want to help you out with. Just a heads up!

You could actually post the videos on Instagram using their app, IGTV.

This allows videos with a total length of 60 minutes (max) + you see a time scroll bar and are able to pause, rewind etc.
The videos will still show up in your feed as well (or not, you can decide this in settings).
People can comment, you can reply or like comments.
Basically all the same features + more.

If you check out the A7X instagram, you will see they have 3 tabs; posts, IGTV and tagged.

Hope this helps :)

I was moreso referring to when they post their embed media files from Instagram onto the school. Like on the riff page, it essentially shows up like how it does on Instagram and so when we go to try to time scroll or find a time stamp on it we can't. But I didn't know that about IGTV! Good info!
