Hey everyone. Please tell me what I should work on to get this solo better. It still needs the ending but this is what I have got so far. Criticism would be nice @syn
Turn the delay completely off and turn the reverb 80% down and then put it backup again those effects tend to cover up our mistakes. And you’ve got so much delay on that in some spots it makes it sound sloppy because it overlaps where it shouldn’t. But damn dude, you are definitely on the right track! You will be ready in a month for sure!
Thanks @jak. Funny thing is that there is no reverb in the lead patch I made. Because where I play there is already natural reverb. But I’ll look into that. And for some reason it was running 2 delays. But I could probably get more of the sustain that delay gives me if I put in a compressed. Idk
Sounds really good, Dylan. I think if the reverb we’re hearing is room reflection, then (obviously) nothing can be done about that (and I say that as a fan of reverb instead of delay), but there is too much delay there. If you want to keep both in, then at least one needs to have its percentage/saturation turned down to well below 10%.
What you’re playing sounds outstanding, though, my friend. Y’all are gonna kill it live.
