Syns playing has influenced me since I was a child learning to play, then I heard Polyphia and Jason Richardson and their style has also been added to my index, just wondering if theres any other people on here that have heard them! If not, definitely check them out, all instrumental stuff that will blow your mind, kinda like Syns masterclass song lol

Jason Richardson the modern string skipping savage !!
He took Paul Gilbert’s strings skips to about 14 levels higher haha
Guy is just way too good lol if you guys here love Syns style and technique, observe Jason for a bit.
Also, Polyphia are great too !
I think my only complaint with them is it sounds like they tend to stay in the same box.

Side note: Jason Richardson came from Born of Osiris back in the day. He left after the album “The discovery” which has some of the most ridiculous modern guitar work. If you can deal with the lame mono tone screams, you’ll dig the instrumental work !

I absolutely LOVE Jason Richardson and Polyphia. They are both currently on my favorite artists list right now actually beating A7X. Jason is just a fucking madman on the guitar. Titan, Omni, and Tendinitis are just monstrous in terms of guitar prowess. And of course polyphia just gets me good. I grew up listening to hip hop and rap so their style and flow actually resonates deeply for me. Not to mention how cleanly they shred just astounding.
