Honestly there's so many variables to possibly answer this question accurately. So pickups, guitar, guitar cab, guitar speakers, any pedals, string gage, scale length, pick size...all those effect tone.
But simple explanation would be less gain (maybe slightly more than a crunch tone), more mids, less lows, more highs highs. Play around with the presence or depth settings to taste.
Those 80s players used high output pickups also. So Seymour Duncan JBs, customs, distortions would not he a bad choice.
